Unity of Raleigh is a warm, inclusive spiritual community. Whether you're deeply spiritual, spiritually curious, or just looking for community — you are welcome here exactly as you are.
We don't ask you to check your questions at the door. We don't require you to believe a specific creed. We simply invite you to come, experience our Sunday service, and see how it feels.
What to Expect
Here's a simple walkthrough of a typical Sunday at Unity of Raleigh.
Arrive & Park
We're located at 5124 Departure Drive, Suite 108, Raleigh, NC 27616. Free parking is available in the lot.
Optional: Guided Meditation (10:00–10:15 AM)
Join us in the Prayer Chapel for a quiet, centering guided meditation. This is a beautiful way to ease into Sunday morning. Open to everyone, no experience required.
Celebration Service Begins (10:30 AM)
The main service starts at 10:30 AM. Expect live music from our Uh-Huh Band, a warm welcome, community prayer, and an uplifting spiritual message.
Music & Worship
Music is central to our worship. Our talented Uh-Huh Band leads us in songs that are joyful, meditative, and soul-stirring. No hymnals required — lyrics are projected.
Spiritual Message
Rev. Ellen Barron delivers a thoughtful, practical message rooted in Unity teachings and spiritual principle — relevant to everyday life, open to all perspectives.
Community Prayer & Offering
We hold time for community prayer requests and a free-will offering. No pressure — giving is entirely optional, especially on your first visit.
Stay for Fellowship
After service, everyone is invited to stay for coffee, conversation, and connection. This is a wonderful time to meet members of the community and ask questions.

Unity is a heart-centered, inclusive spiritual community that welcomes everyone with love, acceptance, and respect, wherever they are on their spiritual journey. While Unity has historical roots in Christianity and honors the wisdom and teachings of Jesus, we are not a traditional Christian denomination. We welcome people of all faiths — and those with no religious background — to explore universal spiritual principles that support a meaningful and spiritually grounded life.
Not at all. You're welcome to attend as many — or as few — services as you'd like, with no expectation of becoming a member. Take all the time you need to get to know our community. If, at some point, you feel called to explore membership, we'll be happy to share more information. Until then, simply enjoy being part of our community.
You'll see everything from casual attire to Sunday best at Unity of Raleigh. There is no dress code — what matters most is that you feel comfortable, welcome, and free to be yourself.
Absolutely! Children are warmly welcomed at Unity of Raleigh. We offer a fun, engaging youth program with age-appropriate spiritual lessons and activities designed to help children discover their own divine potential. Families are also welcome to worship together in our main service if that is their preference. If you have any questions about our children's programs or childcare availability, we'd be happy to help — just contact our church office.
Not at all. Our services are designed to be welcoming and easy to follow, whether you've been on a spiritual path for years or you're visiting a church for the very first time. There's nothing to memorize or perform — simply come, relax, be present, and allow the experience to unfold naturally.
Absolutely! We livestream our Sunday services on YouTube and Facebook, and many people choose to watch online before attending in person. It's a wonderful way to get a feel for our community and worship experience. Whenever you're ready, we'd love to welcome you in person. Visit our Watch page to join us online.
